We will discuss whether you would like a virtual appointment when we are setting it. The day of the appointment you will receive an email from me with a link to the meeting. At this time I use two platforms, VSEE and Zoom Pro for Healthcare - both are HIPAA compliant. At the time of the appointment I will initiate the session and you will join.

Absolutely, at my office at 1878 Jeff Rd., Ste J Huntsvile, AL 35806. If at all possible I really like to hold all first sessions at my office - but understand if you are located elsewhere in the state that this will not be feasible.

Initial Session: $235
45-50 min session: $200
65+ minute sessions: $300
20-30 minute sessions: $110
I am an out of network provider, and can provide you with a superbill to submit to you insurance company.
A sliding scale based on income is available.

About a week before your first appointment I will send you links to online forms to fill out before we meet.
On the day of your appointment, if you are coming physically to the office, you will call me when you arrive in the parking lot, and I will let you know when to come up.
Once in the office, you can sit wherever is comfortable for you, and I will begin the session by opening the intake interview on my computer so that I can make sure to ask all the questions that help me develop a complete picture of your situation and I will type to capture what we discuss. I only do this at the first session. After that when you come in we will chat, and I will write a note after the session.

There is no definitive answer to this question. The first thing to understand is that you are in the driver’s seat - and can terminate therapy when you feel you have achieved your goals. How long it takes to achieve your goals depends on what those goals are as well as your own personalized pace of change. We will discuss your progress at every session, and can address your concerns and needs during those parts of the session.
